Client Success & Account Director
Our Client Success & Account Director will collaborate cross-functionally with our agency teams to translate client objectives into strategies, creative, and content that generate brand excitement, meaningful engagement, and ROI. We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Account Director to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and nurturing client relationships, overseeing account teams, developing, and implementing strategic marketing plans, and ensuring client satisfaction.
Main Responsibilities
We are searching for a Client Success & Account Director for our downtown Pittsburgh location. The successful candidate will be diplomatic, personable, attentive and an active listener, as well as projecting a professional demeanor. Prior agency experience is a must.
A to Z’s next Client Success & Account Director should have:
- Creative thinking
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- Experience working with C-level executives
- High energy and a collaborative attitude
- Excellent writing skills
- 5 to 7 years of account service experience
- Proven client relationship building skills
- Strong presentation, communications, and negotiating skills
- Deep understanding of best practices in marketing and branding
- Proven marketing and campaign planning experience
- Experience in marketing measurements and KPIs
- Understanding of public relations planning, strategies, and tactics
- Interest in staying attune to emerging trends
- Desire to support agency marketing and new business activities
- Experience managing client billing and other day to day agency administrative functions
- Willingness to travel when necessary
- Comfort working in Apple IOS with both MS Office software and Adobe Creative Suite
Requirements
- Prior agency experience
- Expert level understanding of social media platforms
- Skilled in listening and understanding the real needs and concerns of our clients and their customers
- Flexibility to adjust schedules and plans to accommodate changing business needs
- Experience leading an internal team collaboratively with positivity and focus on client success and retention
- Aptitude to learn new tools and grow into a more senior role
- Pursues work with energy and drive, with an ability to take initiative and work collaboratively with our teams
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, while adhering to strict deadlines and schedules
